So yeah,

I bought a few Gary Numan albums off the iTunes music store a while ago. Three of them being Exile, Exile - Extended, and Sacrifice. Well, I thought I'd have a look for Gary Numan again on it and realised that those albums aren't even on it anymore. What would be the reason for removing them? I don't really have a problem with it, I just find it strange. Do they do this with a lot of other bands? Add albums and then remove them later on?

It just bugs me as Exile is really quite a good album (unless you're a Christian).

It's not a drinking problem if I don't have a problem with it.

I've noticed this as well. One such album was there when the store first opened, and has since disappeared completely.

Again, I know it exists because I have the files to prove it.

I'm more frustrated with the fact that the American store has so many songs that the Canadian one doesn't...

I would've thought conisdering it's all digital music, they would just keep adding and adding, so they'd have a huge archive of songs and albums. Wasn't that the aim? To have heaps of songs? Oh well.

It's not a drinking problem if I don't have a problem with it.

I would imagine the most common reason for an album to be on the iTMS and then later pulled is because the license was revoked by the publisher/artist/whatever. Sometimes companies may put songs online without checking with the artist first and then when the artist finds out and asks that it not be made available online, they pull it.

Sometimes the publishing companies just decide to change the licensing terms for the album.

Probably because they don't want their songs made available for download. Are they available on Microsoft's music store or Napster?

There are almost no Linkin Park songs on iTMS, whereas I've seen them on Walmart and the like. What's up with that?

It's not up to Apple. If it was they would have every piece of music in the world including yours (if it will sell).
