I haven't used ebay in awhile. I just sold some U2 Tickets (bought too many, have more to sell actually) and the buyer paid instantly via PayPal.
I accepted the payment and currently PayPal has transfered the funds to my account. It says it might take 3 to 4 days, but then again, it may take longer or something may go wrong.
Is it safe to mail out the tickets or should I wait until the money shows up in my checking account before sending them?
Thank you.

If the funds are indeed in your PayPal account, you are safe to release the tickets immediately.

I think you are probably pretty safe and can send the tix now. I usually leave money in my paypal account to cover purchases on ebay etc so always carry a balance anyhow.
If you are concerned about paypal taking the money back, they would do so anyhow from your bank account, or credit card irregardless oh whether it was in your paypal account or already transferred to your private bank account.

Can PayPal take the money back? It seems like all will be fine, but I don't know if someone can retract their payment or something else occuring where I don't recieve the $$$ and I have no recourse.
I just want to protect myself but if I was the buyer, I'd want the tickets right away. This person has an excellent (over 100) eBay rating too. With 100%.

PayPal can "freeze" your account to investigate fraudulent transactions. The money is never taken from the account in this case, your account is simply frozen until the investigation is over.
A buyer cannot take the money back once it it sent without any sort of seller/PayPal agreement.
Also, if you are shipping to a confirmed address, you are again good to let the tickets go immediately.

Set up a separate checking account just for PayPal. Withdraw the money to that, then transfer the money to another account.
I'd like to see PayPal take the money back then.
