Everyone can thank me for the Tiger announcement today.

I ordered a new PB a few days ago from CDW and it arrived today. Anyone have any experience with Apple's leniency on the purchase date of the mac? Do you think if was purchased a few days ago but only reached my hands today they'd let me slide in to the $20 deal?
Paco is bitter about the loss of his .mac webpage. Image will return when his sadness lessens.

If I were Apple, I'd wouldn't pass up the opportunity to take more of your money.

thanks for the announcement, but i got it from an rss feed

if apple was to let you slip into the up-to-date program because you bought yours a few days ago, where do they draw the line? if you bought yours 4 days ago then why shouldn't they let someone who bought theirs 5 days ago slip in, and so on and so on.

the educational price for tiger is $69. that's a pretty darn good deal, can you get your hands on that?

I can probably get the educational discount from a non-mac using teacher neighbor, but $20 is less. I understand the slippery slope argument, but I hoping they might count the delivery date as opposed to the purchase date. Long shot I know, but a boy has to hope.
