I'm looking for a symbolic representation for quality of life. Something that reminds to live life to the fullest and not stress over the little things, a la Angelina Jolie's death character tattoo but nothing that negative. The importance of life and living is the key theme. Any suggestions?

Three wavy lines for water, or have it made into a wrap for your arm, just 3 lines with a wave pattern.

Why don't you tattoo an Apple logo to your arm? That will score you points around MacNN!

Or, if you want to really be rebellious, tatoo a 'window' on your arm.. an open one, be symbolic.

Just keep in mind that years from now, when you see that tattoo on your body, you will wish you could get rid of it because your tastes have changed so much over the years. So at that point it will probably just be depressing rather than uplifting.

True. True.
If it looks like beer, taste like beer... then it is beer, and worth whatever you paid for it.

it's 200 x 50... I've seen a bunch of new people with sigs over the limit, but I always get burned when I start a new post

Having beer and pizza in my own `garden', enjoying a warm evening. Helps me forget that I'm poor
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

I'm surprised nobody has suggested it yet, but MacNN is a very important source of livelihood for many people.

I can see where the extra 13 pixels would drive you to the point of losing your sanity and posting idiotic nonsense about people's signatures.

BTW: The extra large type in your sig is really annoying.

I'm just teasing of course, but I thought you should know that your sig was just a bit wide. There was a time, a few years ago, when Tooki was going around telling people that their sigs were 3 pixels too long or whatever, and he would threaten to ban them if they didn't comply.

Interesting that you're open to tattooing windows onto your body but not apples ...

Then why did you take over a thread that was unrelated instead of private messageing me.
You seem to have a clue as to the signature size, but yet you exhibit incredibly poor taste
in posting v pm'ing someone.

You sire, are full of it.

Tooki: A few years ago: Bannination?
Been banned lately?

So you admit to trying to have me banned for my sig? Pathetic.

I wasn't trying to get you banned! Nobody is going to get banned for having a sig that is wide by 13 pixels. I was just bringing it up, since signatures are very similiar in a lot of ways to tattoos.

What?
Do you have a learning disability, because if so, then I'll give you a freebie.
If you don't, why didn't you mention that in your initial post? Sheesh... liar.

There's no such thing as "disability". Didn't you get the memo? All the disabled folks where shipped off to a different solar system - everybody's "differently abled" nowadays.

How about a tattoo of this:

(non-animated, of course)

Seems like that what this thread has become.
