* for the low low price of $10 to $180 !

http://www.flip4mac.com/wmv.htm

I have been on the mailing list of this company for about a year now waiting for this product. If it works as advertised I will be buying this instantly. The ability to convert WMV to quicktime is worth it all by itself.

Anyone else been waiting for this? Or is it just me?

EDIT: Im downloading the trial now. i will report back after testing it.

Its not really about the file format, its about the media player. Windows media player is sh!t. we all know it. it hasn't been updated in years, the fast-forward/rewind buttons don't work, the progress bar can't be dragged in real time, or at all for that matter.

I just really want to never have to use wmp... ever.

BTW, for those of you who care (there has to be a few others besides me), I tested it and I will be buying WMV player, not sure if I need pro, or not...

Isn't that a bit like re-encoding mp3 files? I.e, the quality will be terrible?
