Wow. I guess I've been out of touch with the goings-on of Ritchie Blackmore since he dropped out of Deep Purple years ago. I just listened to Blackmore's Night for the first time, and kind of like it. Quite a departure for Blackmore's past work, it's sort of an Enya sound but with an edge* (i.e. - drums and electric guitar). Candice has a nice voice.



*I'm sure that such a categorization would deeply offend and annoy Blackmore.

I never could get into them. About 5 or 6 years ago my mother bought one of their CDs and was hooked.

I don't think anyone would get offended by the Enya comment. If I where a singer, and I had been compared to Enya, it would be a great thing. Her voice is just amazing.
