For Panther we got dogtags. Any idea what'll be at the Tiger opening?

I'm hoping they offer discounts of some sort. My father is in town and is buying an iBook. Budget is tight for him. He's replacing his old Lombard though.
It's also his birthday tomorrow. Now I just have to find an iBook accessory to buy him...

Once you wanted revolution, now you're the institution, how's it feel to be the man?

I've seen the shirts. They suck. (At least the employee ones)
And as far as I know, there won't be any small giveaways. I think there will be scratchers for you to have the chance to win a Powerbook or some iPods.

I hope it's nothing ... since I have to work (though I already installed Tiger this morning).

IIRC, if you buy the new OS or a computer, you get 10% off your entire purchase. Wow. Talk about slashing prices.

Well "Happy Birthday" to both our dads. I can't go to the Tiger party because we're doing dinner for mine. It'd be a lot more fun if he was buying his first Mac, though. Sadly, I don't think he'd want to try even if I gave him one (which I'm in no position to do). He's always been strictly Windows.
