Here's one for the weekend 
Amusing or unintentionally true nicknames of airlines I've come across:
Aeroflot - the bus
Aer Lingus - Cunni
Air France - Air Chance
Air Illinois - Air what's that noise?
Delta - Delta Gets You Close (Parody on advertising campaign after landing at the wrong airport a few times -- "Delta Gets You There")
LOT (Polish Airlines) - "Look Out, Tower!"
Lufthansa - Luggage Usually Flown To Hamburg And Never Seen Again
Mexicana - Mexicaca
Ransome Airlines - (this airline doesn't NEED a nickname)
SWISS - So What, It's Still Swissair
TWA - Try Walking Airlines
Some are just too true 
(My persononal favorite is ETOPS - Engines Turn Or Passengers Swim)

Air Inuit, often called "Air Imaha". "Imaha" means "may be", as when you take those planes, you never know when you take off, or where/when you land...
To be fair, the weather is quite challenging in that area...

Aviateca (Guatemala's airline) used to be called "las papayas voladores" (the flying papayas) on account of the color of the underbelly. They have since been painted blue.

Sabena, Sex Aan Boord En Niets Anders. Translations: Sex on board and nothing else. But yeah, sadly it's now SN Brussels Airlines, talk about a stupid name. Sabena used to be soo good.
