Speaking of watching TV on your Mac, is this particularly useful for when you're in college and want to have cable but don't want to have a TV monitor in your room taking up space? Is watching TV on your Mac pleasant?

That's what I did in the past few years. I started out on the iMac 233 and Formac iProTVRAID in OS 9.x, then Formac Studio DV/TV on my TiBook/400 under OS 9.x and Mac OS X 10.1. After I got myself a dual G4 1.25, I grabbed the AlchemyTV PCI card.

The Formac Studio DV/TV gave me DV resolution, 720 x 480. However, the PCI TV card is just 640x480.

The same thing goes for people writing iPod as IPOD, and they also think MAC == Apple Computers.

As a Mac user, I find that reallllly annoying.

I think it is phenominally stupid that a company that is in close co-operation with Apple to make graphics cards for the Mac makes such a dumb mistake! Hello? Is anybody home at ATi?

Aggrivating

Start calling them atI instead of ATi and see how upset they get.

Has anyone actually bothered contacting them and informing them of their mistake?

It's their revenge for the time when steve jobs decided not to include Radeons in some Mac, right before a MacWorld.

You people really need more in your life if "MAC" instead of "Mac" really frustrates you, and that is a fact.

I might point out that ATi -- as you call it -- is spelled ATI all over their homepage, in fact, I couldn't find it with a lowercase i. I know it was once spelled that way, but nobody seems to care. Because they have better things to worry about. In fact, I don't know why I bothered replying to this post.

In conclusion, nobody cares. And now, just to aggravate you all:

Code:
MicroSoft LongHorn is a good OS but not as OS X which is made by MAC. I use it all the time on my Apple PC. I use OS X ten version 10.3. Now let's all go get dinner at AppleBees.

In this thread I've spelled Ati as

aTi
ATi
Ati

etc

if the correct capitalization of a three letter word seems to be too difficult for a multi-million dollar high tech corporation, how can I be expected to get it right?

My friend, a recent switcher, still writes Imac and Ipod even though I always write it the correct way. Imean, why even bother with the capitalization at all ipod or imac is fine with me, that would just say he's lazy. Iswear he's doing it deliberately to annoy the hell out of me.
