Wow, Arenas is the man - that was a heavily contested shot and ge just drained it at the buzzer. I love the Bulls, but I don't think they have a shot unless Gordon scores 60 in D.C.

God, I hope not. It's just not fun to watch opponents held to 70 points.

By the way, is there anything better than watching Iverson when he's on his game? Too bad he probably won't ever win a title, but that game 3 was simply amazing.

Well, I'm a Lakers fan, but no Lakers in these playoffs so I'm rooting for the Heat in the East and for the Spurs in the West.

It seems that the Pistons are back to playing their type of ball, but if Shaq is healthy and given that Wade is a better "sidekick" and all, I don't know that they can get past the Heat.

If Duncan is healthy by the time the Finals come around, I expect them to win it all. People expect them to have trouble against Seattle because of how they matched up during the regular season, but I still think it'll be the Spurs without too much trouble.

On another note, these 7-game first round series take way too long. I wish they hadn't done that. It feels like they've been playing forever and the first round is barely ending.

I'd say hardcore defense with unselfish offense. By "hardcore" I mean not only do they think defense first, but they also play it with all they have.

I hope that the Spurs go all the way again, and failing that, that the Pistons do it. I took a lot of ribbing last time when the Pistons made the playoffs because I said they might just make it. Things got kind of quiet when they did...

Lately teams like the Pistons have been seeing what a real team-oriented team (like the Spurs) does, and how they're successful, so they've gotten on board and made progress. I LIKE it!

i hope the pacers win because reggie miller is still one of the best shooters in the league.

but i think the pistons will win. the heat will give them a hard time, but as a "lakers fan", i think the pistons will stop them. of course i may be wrong, but the pistons defense is pretty bad ass.

I am now in a predicament. I live in San Antonio, and my best friend is a serious Spurs fan. But I grew up in the Detroit area, and my Dad and sister are still there-and my sister is a serious Pistons fan! (She's still ticked about the NHL debacle, so I think she has lots of pent-up fan energy left over from that, too.) My sister and best friend are going to be debating the Finals through email, and I'm likely to get caught in the middle.

I think I'll just lay low for the next couple of weeks and hope not to get caught in the crossfire.

Do you have tickets?

I saw Game 2 against the Knicks in 99. Great game. Booing Spike Lee was a plus.

Look at this way: Whichever team wins, you win.

No tickets-no time to go to games. I'm back in school and Summer semesters are killer! I'm actually just hoping to sit back and watch some really good basketball on TV. There are so many interesting similarities in the two teams' styles, that I think we'll see low-scoring but very exciting games. I hope both teams live up to everyone's expectations.
