My buddy, who works as a mechanic, called me up this afternoon and asked me to drive over to the dynojet, where they were dyno-ing a CTS-V. I dig that ride, so I headed over.
The car's got B&B Stainless steel headers, cats and cat-back exhaust, and that's it.
Oh, and shiny wheels.
I'd freakin' drive the **** outta this thing, it's tight.

EDIT:: ok just watched the movie, 375 RWHP... not bad
I also noticed that at about 1:50 into the movie some smoke comes out of the exhaust...

I think I'd rather have a Mercedes E55 AMG. Or maybe the Magnum SRT. But sweet ass ride nonetheless.

I've seen all sorts of crap come out of performance cars exhaust pipes..
on dyno runs especially, everyone's tuning to the edge..
the last video I posted of my brother's '99 Z28 (440RWHP), there was lots of white smoke on deceleration... it's what happens on nitrous cars after they're done breathing hell-fire.
E55 AMG, awesome freaking car.

I like that car much better in black and with the custom rims.
Also, you get extra credit for cutting the video to OutKast.

I like the new Cadilac styling, and of course the performance-kind of like a real Batmobile with muscle. But the FIRST time I saw a CTS outside of a commercial, it was being driven by a little old lady-she must have been 95 years old! Not that she was driving badly, it's just that she didn't really look like she fit that car. Maybe Cadilac needs to look at who their core market is and come up with something that's both comfortable for older folks and still performs well without looking quite so mean and powerful!

I agree with you on the looks, but have to say I hope that Caddy and other U.S. automakers continue this streak of originality. Even if one doesn't like the looks of such styling, at least it's an attempt on GM's part to get out of the style rut they've been in for, oh, say the last 30 years. Kudos to Chrysler and Ford for doing the same as of late with their new designs (I'm thinking 300C and the new Mustang).

The car looks pretty nifty, though I don't dig the wheels too much. I think they're too bling-bling for me.

I like the 300C-it looks like it was "chopped and channeled," but I don't like the new Mustang as much because they went with the late styling-as in "Bullit," a '67 or '68 style that was already too close to what they did with the Mach 1. A '66 style Mustang would be HOT and I think it would look a lot better.
