Well, sort of. In a span of no more than 2 hours I have to get everyone up to speed on Mac OS X 10.4.

Some of these people have never used a Mac before, some are coming back after being kicked off and having to use Windows for the past 5 or 6 years.

Asside from basic operations (like openning the HD, transferring files between Mac and PC, openning Apps, configuring the Network, Airport, etc.), what Tiger specific features do you think would be most useful to Teachers and Staff?

I know I'm missing something, but this is what I have:

1. Spotlight
2. Smart Folders <-- I bet they're gonna be popular
3. Expose
4. Dashboard

How about basic use of the finder?

C'mon be real it's the office. Show them the features they will be using the most, in this order:

1) Safari
2) iChat
3) iTunes
4) Dashboard (just to see the opening/closing/water ripple animations and the weather)
5) Chess
6) Dock magnification
7) shutdown

I haven't been using Tiger for very long myself, I was just looking for Tiger specific features you guys might think are cool or helpful.

I'm going to be covering the following already:

Startup & Shutdown
Finder Basics
Internet basics (Safari & Firefox + RSS)
Office basics (Word, Excel, etc.)
Networking basics (Ethernet, Airport, DHCP)
Search Basics

But stuff like Smart Folders (which I just started toying with), Expose for Finder, and other nifty effects would fun too. I wasn't sure if I had covered the important Tiger stuff.
