Here is the Link to Lake Monster article.

This looks for real. Think it's for real?

Since you have to register to read the article, here you go and I am posting the picture:

Strange creature photographed at Fort Patrick Henry Lake

Friday, April 01, 2005

There have been several recent unconfirmed reports of such a creature in Fort Patrick Henry Lake, but until now there were only rumors.

Wildlife officials want to question this kayaker after a photo take from Ralph Yelton Bridge on Fort Patrick Henry Lake this week showed a large, unidentified creature in the lake.

Dr. Loof Lirpa of the Institute for Advanced Studies at Bluff City said the creature appears to be a Plesiosaur, which was thought to be extinct for millions of years.

Similar sighting of Plesiosaur-type creatures are common at Loch Ness in Scotland and Lake George, N.Y. however this is a first for a Tennessee lake.

There have been several recent unconfirmed reports of such a creature in Fort Patrick Henry Lake, but until now there were only rumors.

Some Lake residents are now calling the creature Lizzy.

Local officals cannot explain the sudden appearance of the creature, but there have been reports of strange, mournful calls on the lake at night.

Some lake residents have also reported pets that frequent the lake shore missing.

That's a horrible Photoshop job. You should be ashamed for even mentioning this one.

It's not bad for an April Fools article, but it's now May and such tomfoolery must be put behind us.

Something to liven up a weekend.

"Never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never - in nothing, great or small, large or petty - never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense." Winston Churchill
