I've had Quicktransit on my google alerts for awhile now. Here's the snippet from eweek that will perk interest:
Company executives said the technology could be used to run Apple Computer Inc.'s Mac OS on top of an x86 processor. However, the technology will most likely not be sold to individual users, so a company such as Hewlett-Packard Co. would have to decide to license the technology and include it with their PCs.
The company recently licensed their technology to SGI. I had wondered when this was first announced whether Apple was an unannounced licensee. Time will tell. FWIW, I don't think that this is a hoax - the story has had legs for about a year now.

An interesting idea. Surprised that something talked about over six months ago, hasn't been mentioned more.
