I don't know where exactly I should post this so I'm just dumping it in the lounge. Should be a quick answer and then it goes off to the thread-graveyard.

I know PC CD's are readable on the Mac. But Mac CD's are not readable (normally) in windows. Not to familier with data DVD's tho. Soo....

If I burn a data DVD in the UDF format using toast (6.0.9) can it be read on both PC's and Macs?
Thanks in advance.

Quick add on, any easy way to burn 30GB of files over multiple discs?

i've seen OSX prompt and say, the data won't fit on one disc, do you wish to expand across x amount of discs. or something like that. and, off you go. Nero on the pc side will do the same.

It's not that much of a nightmare to organize the files into 4.4 GB folders before I burn 'em, thankfully everything is laid out quite neatly. But before I start I need to know if the burned UDF DVD discs can be read in a PC ok.

It's about 95% certain that a UDF disc will be readable on a PC. If the PC won't read it, you can download a UDF plugin that will let it. It's all cool.
