They were wanting to get set up as one of our vendors. The rep asked if I was familar with their company, and I almost said, "No, but I bet you guys must be resellers for Apple's new OS." I wonder if he would have caught my sarcasm...

I told him we already got their catalogs, and that we weren't interested in taking on any more vendors, but thanks anyway.

Should have said, "No, we're not interested in establishing a relationship with any company that has a stupid frivolous lawsuit against Apple."

They have a frivolous lawsuit against Apple?

Figures.

I didn't know that. What for?

Since our company is in Florida and they're in Miami they have been trying to get us to use them for all of our computer and software needs for the last 5 years. They *forget* why we won't use them and when they try to call I love to tell them the following story.

I once had to go down and pick up memory (back when it was really expensive - we were buying $15K worth) and in their parking lot I was held up by a guy with a gun. Me and their little guard guy in a golf cart. I am 100% serious. I had to go to one of their warehouses on NW 25th street out by the airport and that's what happened. We honestly thought (and still think) that it was an inside job. I normally don't pick up anything, but we needed it for a system wide upgrade so I offered to drive down and pick it up and that's what happened. The ram/memory was handed to me and I walked out the door to go to my car 30 feet away and all of a sudden a guy in an old 4-door sedan pulled up and points a gun at me and tells me to "hand over the box." Their security guard - if that's what you want to call him - was sitting there on a golf cart and never moved a muscle.

I'll never forget that, ever. I think they're crooks in more ways than one. I think that the guys that are running the company are crooked. I can't divulge why, but trust me, they are.

By the way, we sued them. They paid out.

Didn't see that, but obviously their pathetic attempt did not work. Apple will chew them up and spit them out.

I use them all the time. Decent prices, lightning fast shipping.

I wrote DigerDirect and told them that I will not buy from them anymore. This law suit is just plain ridiculous.

Ahh! They called again but I wasn't at my desk, and he didn't leave me his number. Give me some ideas on how to have some fun with him if he calls back.

Be direct. Tell them you won't work with them because of the lawsuit against Apple, and request that they don't call you again, tell them that if they call back again you'll send "Guido and Vito" over to take care of them.
