Anyone watching The Apprentice this season?
This time around I really loved watching it. It's gotten better and better each week. I loved the idea that they pitted street smarts (no college) against book smarts (college educated) and that the final two contestants are women and one has finished college and one has not.
Did anyone see last week's episode? Where Tana had Chelsea Piers and was hosting the NYC bid for the Olympic Games and Kendra had Webster Hall and the video game exposition to host?
It was great. Though, based on Tana's assinine remarks about the people helping her (former contestants) as "employees" to set it up - she called them names and said they were "stupid" - I think that she should lose for not having any humility and graciousness.
Next week, the finale, will be great!
The Apprentice
Kendra, BTW, is right from here: West Palm Beach/Palm Beach area.

And somebody actually started a thread on it.
Lord love a duck!

I'm going to have to borrow that saying from you: "Lord love a duck."
I never watched it until this season, to be honest. I have work to do in the evenings and I'm not a television watcher - except for Discovery Channel, which I love.
But, I actually think it's a great show. Of all the "reality" shows, The Apprentice and The Amazing Race are the best.
(Oh, and we also watch West Coast Choppers.)

I agree, it's a decent show, with some curious insight into how mega-entrepreneurs like Trump work.
I agree, Tana was doing pretty well till this last task. Admittedly, while she should have kept her comments to herself, she did get three awful employees who really were hard to control. (Not surprising, given the whole DIY nature of the "street smarts" folks.) I also think she got a much harder task.
My hunch, though, is that it's going to Kendra.

Is that the American version of the show that we know here as “Hired or Fired”? Where some famous (and attention-desperate) business magnate decides which members of a fictional work team get to stay on, and which members get sent home?
If so, this show's suckiness is quite nearly unparallelled.
