My first encounter with wild monkeys at a temple (Batu Caves) outside Kuala Lumpur, Maylasia. Shot with my new toy, Olympus E-300. I guess I am now officially a hobby photographer

I bought it in Maylasia. It came with two (all-digital) lenses. The standard and a 14-45mm. I also got a high speed 1GB CF-card and two UV-filters! An amazing deal that came to USD$1036!

The lil' monkey makes for a nice desktop pic, too ...

But he kept staring at my HD as if he was about to eat it - crept me out. Switched back to my old dt pic shortly thereafter.

Why thank you wdlove And everyone else that liked them, much appreciated.

Constant nagging (and I think my third warning) about changing signature has finally made me do it. No fancy PNG-transparancy this time (no need since we no longer have alternate white and grey). But no more monkeybusiness. The last time I tried changing the pinwheel-sig I got complaints from people no longer recognizing me. But with all the name-changing going around I guess I'm in good company this time

Monkeys are indeed quite crazy. I was in Bali last month, and while sightseeing at a temple, I saw several monkeys doing their business.

One ambushed a tourist and snatched a can of Coke from her hand, fought off other monkeys for the right to have it, then started chugging it. They steal from tourists and attack them all the time. I also saw a monkey giving another monkey a prostate exam. Weird, man.

Not so cute. Nice pix, though.
