Foreground: Michael Jackson
Background: His Pops

Genetics:
Notice the hair. Let me tell ya something, you can't avoid your genetics. I'm 25 and I'm starting to thin slightly. Jackson is into his 40s and his true hairline must be degrading somewhat similar to his father but not that drastic.

Hair implants:
The thing about african americans is that they need to "relax" their hair to mimic lara flynn boyle's beautiful locks. If you have hair implants (hair taken from other parts of your head), relaxing the hair is way too harsh. you might kill those delicate transplanted folicles.

Thats my evidence, APU rests his case.

You'd wear a wig if your head set on fire when you were filming a commercial as a kid, too.

Imagine what he looks like without it. No wonder the guy is so insane, he probably gets extremely depressed when he looks in the mirror without his makeup or wig.

Can't get away from genetics? Ha! Look at Jacko's day. A black man. Look at Jackson, a white Diana Ross impersonator.

Let me tell you something about hair and genetics. You don't get it from your father, you get it from your mohter. Look at your uncle (your mothers brother) and you will generally see where your hair is headed.

Really? That must explain why I'm losing my hair much faster than my father! I will inquire of my mother as to her brother's hairline to check the veracity of this statement.

America! The only country where a black boy can grow up to be a rich white woman!

I wouldn't at all be surprised. His narcissism is very evident.

On a side note: i was taking an anthropology class on 'race, culture and biology' and there were probably a good 200-250 of us in the class. We were watching a video, where they conducted a study of high school students, and in particular this African American girl who grew up in a Caucasian neighbourhood...and she was complaining about how she dosent feel like she fits in...and i can quote her, cause ill never forget what she said.... (shes balling at this point) 'I'm black on the outside, but i'm white on the inside'. lol...quite amusing....and for some reason Michael jackson came to mind.

As far as Mickey J....does that dude ever socialize with ppl his own age ? i think the last time i saw him interacting with anyone apart from children(holding hands and the like) was with Elvis' daughter. I just find it odd that anytime anyone hears anytthing about him, it involves children. just once i want to hear about him on a date with a woman, or playing basketball or punching the papratzi. u know....regular celebrity stuff. instead it's always about something to do with kids.

To quote Howard Stern: If MJ loves children so much, how come you never see him with little girls?

my boss is a 4o something yr old man. he's from NJ and is very plain. He has a wife and 2 kids. he's not flashy and looks as if he's in his 40s. he wears the typical old dude mall clothing. he has salt and pepper hair and is slender.

this is what my boss said:

Imagine if I started hanging out with boys all the time. Fixed up my house to play with them. Asked their parents to let them stay over. Occasionally have them sleep in the same bed. Michael Jackson is OLDER than me.

____________

we look at MJ and we're used to his weirdness but break it down and you'd see that he's not right int he head to do the things he does. WHAT HE SHOULD BE doing is having sex with women all the time or falling in love with one atleast. HE IS a 100x more more famous than Brad Pitt!!! He can get girls to line up outside his bedroom no matter what he looks like.

If Michael Jackson wears a wig, then that is probably the least-creepy thing about him I've ever heard.

Urban legend that doesn't make any logical sense. Your genetic makeup is a combination of your parents, the little baldness DNA from your mom cannot put the smackdown on the baldness DNA from your dad.

There is no supportable scientific evidence for this.

Kind of like the nonsense that we only use 10% of our brain's power. It's been said with authority so much nobody stop to wonder if it's true.

Question: How can male pattern baldness be predicted?

Answer: This is inherited on the X chromosome and passed to male children only. Consequently, it is "given" to the male children by the mother. Looking at male forebears will give you a statistical likelihood. For example, if the mother's father is bald, 50% of the X genes will pass baldness and 50% of the male offspring will be bald. If the maternal grandmother's father was bald the risk rises to about 75%. And for each male in the maternal tree that is bald the risk rises. There may be chromosome marking available, but I am not aware of it. One can do chromosome marking within the family and predict whether the X in the child comes from the maternal father or mother.

I was going to link to the myriad of sites that "debunk" this myth, but the evidence coming out of Germany this month is new. However, if you read the articles and what the researches said, the gene in the X chromosome passed down by the mother is an INDICATING factor, not the SOLE factor in determining baldness. So, as of a week or so ago, I stand corrected. However as a 34 year old man rapidly losing his hair with a maternal grandfather that died in his seventies with a full luxurious head of hair (his two sons are also well endowed folically) I am living and frustrated proof that the notion that the ONLY indicator of your eventual baldness comes from mom.

BTW, my father and paternal grandfather (don't know any other males on his side of the family) suffered from significant hair loss at the time of their deaths. My older brother is also shining up top.
