It's almost June 7, so the anniversary of D-Day is almost past, but I felt the need to post something about it.

61 years ago today, 125,000+ young men from the United States, Great Britain and Canada turned the tide of World War II and changed the world we live in. Many of them died for the effort on Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno and Sword.

Personally, I thank each and every one of them for helping to defeat Nazi Germany. We'll remember them much past their time on this earth.

Great was their sacrifice
Great was their gift

May they be forever remembered for the ultimate price they paid

Their blood has joined the river streams that is today, and
hence the morrow shall shine.

Their light was not turned in vain.

Rest in piece, your gift is etternal.
