Are you more or less likely to buy a new PPC mac in the next 6 months given the Intel announcement?
I'm interested in seeing what the announcement will do to resale values of PPC-based computers in the next few months.
For my part, I'd like to get a used dual 1.8 to tide me over until an Intel-based powermac comes out.

i bought one a month ago... and i am sort of glad because I needed one despite the announcement.
It does not appear to me that things will be "happy happy la la la" until Macworld 2007.
For the next 18 months anyway, Tiger will run purrfectly on my new Powermac. In this respect my purchase was wise. As will be yours if you buy right away.
