I'm hoping guilty, but the wheels of justice have failed with other celebrities so, well, I won't get my hopes up.

Jacko might be wacko, but I think the jury will say innocent on most of the charges.

Yeah, maybe that is a better way to say it. There are 10 counts, he may be guilty on a few, but not all 10.

Why are they showing coverage of his ranch? Waiting for him to leave to get to the court house? He has to be in court when the verdict is read, doesn't he?

Well, if he was found guilty for any of the counts, he would then be processed and put in jail. At least that is how non celebrities are handled. So if he isn't there, then what? I'm guessing he already left on his private jet; since nobody has seen him for a couple days.

He's on a plane to Indonesia where he can live with Gary Glitter and Pete Townsend.

wouldn't be surprised if he's found guilty on some counts. Any of them will likely carry prison time.

My guess is either Not Guilty or a hung jury. Although the evidence that he's done this stuff in the past is awfully compelling, there is plenty of reasonable doubt in this particular case (owing largely to the prosecution's mistakes, and there have been many).
They might find him guilty of a few counts, I suppose, but I will be very surprised if they find him guilty on all counts.

...which sounds exactly like another high-profile case.

If you're thinking of OJ, there was no reasonable doubt there; the evidence against him was way too overwhelming, with nothing resembling a credible alibi. OJ got off when Cochran played the race card and confused people by claiming that a shrunken glove which wouldn't fit over latex was proof of OJ's innocence. That was the prosecution's fatal mistake, but it was their only big one, and truth be told I'm not sure I wouldn't have handled it the way they did.
Jackson, on the other hand, not only managed a very solid defense but also systematically and unarguably discredited every piece of evidence against him. He did not play the race card even though he could have done so, and although the media tried their damndest to turn this into a circus they got nowhere near the kind of crap they pulled with OJ. Not only that, but the when the prosecution is putting known perjurers on the stand, you know something is screwed up.
You'll have a hard time finding someone more convinced than me that Michael Jackson is a pedophile, and that he has molested children in the past. The evidence of this is almost as compelling as the evidence of OJ's guilt. But this time, this one time, I'm not sure he did it, and when there's reasonable doubt then there is no choice but to acquit. That concept is one of the most important legal safeguards in existence.

What race would that be? Grey? He's not black anymore... but he's not really caucasian.... just really pale.
