Well, this is the best I've ever done in NetHack. I need to get quite a few more levels, but I'm about to go on the Priest quest into the Underworld and grab the Holy Mitre. I'm hoping to make it all the way and achieve god hood. That "A" is my Archon pet with Excalibur. Check out mah shiznit:

A very addictive D&D game. Wasted many hours at Uni playing it.

I imagine that character was getting very hungry wearing two rings and an amulet.

One of the oldest (if not the first) "graphical" computer RPGs. It's a more advanced and fun spinoff from a game called Rogue. It started off on UNIX.

The game is standalone, but I play off a UNIX shell that everyone else plays on. When your character dies, there's a chance it'll create a "bones level" and leave a ghost with all the items you previously had. Since I'm playing on a server with a bunch of other people, you often run into other peoples' ghosts. It's also a shared High Score List so you can compare how well you're doing with the other players. It's fun, just telnet from your Terminal and get going (I'd suggest setting your terminal to white on black.)

But there're probably tons of other Hack sites as well as variations. One of the most popular variations is Angaband. It's even more advanced than Hack and is based on Lord of the Rings.

I've yet to beat Hack, so I'm going to go at this first.

I have a ton of food rations in my bag of holding, plus a ring of poison resistence (to eat critters if I have to) pluse one more charge on my Wand of Wishing. But I'm holding onto that just in case I need something.

I also have a ring of teleport control and a wand of polymorph in my bag.
