My wife is trying to do a video chat with some clients. They're on PCs.
I've never used it but Yahoo chat is cross-platform compatible, right? We have an iSight so will be using that.
Or, are there are any other options to consider these days? Thanks.

The official Yahoo! chat client for OS X doesn't support video. Neither do any of the 3rd party ones that I know of (like Adium).
Edit: Ok, I lied. It does "webcam," but I've never used it and I don't think it's the same thing as video chat.

The official Yahoo! client does in fact support video. It doesn't however support audio.

I believe that iChat can do cross-platform video chat with the newest version of AIM.

Try either voice chats with Skype (my father did that successfully) or video chats with iChat/AIM.

Yahoo Messenger OS X does support webcam video, aMSN also supports webcams now. Mercury Messenger apparently does it too, but I couldn't get it working in the last version I used.

Skype won't do it (can just do a telephone conference call for that). I'll look more into the iChat/AIM possibility. Thanks.
