Me, too. I still have most of them on VHS tape back at my parents.
Unfortunately, they are VHS PAL and won't play in the US.

That'd be too frustrating.
Have you tried transferring them onto your Mac then onto DVD? Also, you might be able to pick up one of those PAL/NTSC video records of old that can play both formats.
