I'm looking for two types of tech podcasts:

1) A podcast equivalent of slashdot (or close to it)
2) Something more technical that's geared towards software developers.

Anything good out there?

I really like The MacCast. Every two-person podcast out there always sounds to me like some bad morning drivetime DJs, rambling on aimlessly and laughing at each other's jokes. The MacCast is a one-person show that's very well organized, current and informative. There is also a LOT of listener participation.

It might not be beneficial to you as a software developer, but it does cover the whole spectrum of Apple/Mac topics.
