I was going to post a Canada Day thread but with all the Anti Canadian crap from Americans I figured I wouldn't bother. I give it another hour before this thread turns to ****, just as happy 4th of July threads will too in a few days.

Almost 2 hours and no badmouthing of Canada, or was that an invitation?

- - -

What is everyone going to do for Canada Day? I'm going to toast you all with a short moment of silence for all that you have done for us in the past. The good things anyway.

Thanks from me in the USA.

I've always liked Dominion Day. I grew up near Detroit, and Dominon Day was the start of a four-day party there! Yay, Canada!

Going up to lake Huron tomorrow and Sunday with a couple of friends. Apparently there's a Scottish festival going on there. Should be interesting.

Um…I'm going to do the average stoner summer day in honor of Canadian pot…except without the pot. I'm already stupid without pot, so not necessary.

I guess that means I'm going to have a beer and some Bagel Bites and watch Comedy Central 'til 3 AM. Then wake up 15 hours later.

Next Can-Uh-Duh Day I'm going up to Alaska to see my favorite ho: AKCrab. It's not exactly Canada, but close enough. Not like anyone lives outside the provinces. BTW, you still owe me $300 for them implants, if you can read this.

That is a lovely young lady, cute, and with a very sweet smile.

Happy Canada Day to all our MacNN members from Canada.

Happy Canada Day from Washington, DC! Here is a pic of your embassy flying its flags proudly--They just put up all the flags around the perimeter of the roof a few days ago.

Jim Carrey is a naturalized American citizen. Alanis Morisette and Michael J Fox are other Candian emigrants as well. Don't know about William Shatner but someone could post the dancing Kirk.
Happy Canada day to all, eh.

From what I remember, we were introduced talked somewhat awkwardly and parted ways. I remembered her 'cause she was gorgeous, then later started watching the second season of smallville and had to laugh.

As far as celebrating goes, I think I'm going to head to Kingston for the weekend, get KRUNKED, and listen to the Hip.

Nothing is free…except those samples at BJ's.

Actually, I'm not sure Canadian bacon is Canadian. English muffins aren't English. But I don't eat pork, so it really doesn't matter.

It's called paranoia. I haven't seen any "anti-Canadian crap" on this thread so far.

Awww, sounds like you didn't get the digits

Heh, good stuff for having met and talked to her, though . A friend of mine is crazy about her; he'd prolly faint if he were to be introduced to her.

Um, I knew what you meant the first time. I was just making fun of the lack of apostrophes in your post ("Im").
