Wow, what a hunk of junk for $2,400.00

My 2 year old 17" powerbook is still better than that POS.

The bottom line is: it will play more games than your Powerbook.

But you don't care about games so you shouldn't be concerned.

So true, even the Pismo looks much better, and we are talking about a six years old case.

GeForce Go 6800 Ultra w/256MB - kinky. But damn is that thing ugly ... and hefty as well, 8.6lbs. Nah, gimme any Apple portable or alternatively a box of crayons and a few sheets of paper over that monstrosity any time of the day.

*shudder*

One more time, PowerBook only has OS, OS X apps and hardware design going for it. The Dell Inspiron 9x00 series can be configured with the same specs as XPS2 for even more cheaper prices. Who doesn't want a 2.13Ghz P-M and Geforce 6800 go 256mb?

Well without OS X x86 running on it I don't I'd MUCH sooner have a 1.67Ghz 17 incher or even the 15 incher... actually I'd sooner have a three year old iBook
