Aside from the fact that she, like far too many other young women today, wears so much eyeliner that she looks like she has bags under her eyes, she's not unattractive. I personally don't like her "physical presentation"-the way she carries herself in public. Not at all like Paris Hilton, whose superiority complex oozes from her every pore, just over the top all the time.

And in the picture brapper posted she does look much prettier than with black hair.

Sadly, there is nothing special about Ashlee Simpson.

Cosmetics and Technology can make almost any teen girl look and sound 10x better than they actually are. If what I've seen/heard from Ashlee is the best that all that wizardry can do, then she is has little to offer.

I agree. She might not be 'hot', but not being hot doesn't mean you're ugly. I'd say she falls into the 'decent' category. I've met girls prettier than her, and a lot of girls uglier than her.
