(This is not posted under peripherals because the question is about keychains themselves.)
I currently own a 256MB Lexar JumpDrive Sport. It's very convenient to use, as it pops right out of the rubber case which is attached to the keychain. There's no cap to lose, and I don't need the rest of the keychain dangling from the USB port.
A few days ago, after a coworker had meddled with it a bit, I noticed that the USB head was sort of dangling around a bit. I want my data to be safe, and this dangling makes me a bit uncomfortable. I think I might be in the market for a new drive (as 256MB is also pretty small), and I'm seriously considered a 512MB Cruzer Titanium. Of course, there's no easy way for it to pop out of my keychain, unless I buy one of those quick-release keychains...and I don't like being limited to only 5 items on my keychain.
Where would I find individual quick-release keyrings to use as needed?
Sorry about the keychain obsession .
Edit: I seem to have solved my problem. Move along, now .

How does you having less money in your keychain and no car make you win over someone that has a car and transportation AND a keychain?

On the subject of quick-disconnect keychains, have you tried your friendly neighborhood Ace Hardware store? The one near me has all sorts of keychain/keyring gadgets. I've used both plastic and cylindrical metal quick-disconnects, and the only problem I've ever had with any of them was that I tend to collect too many darn THINGS on my keychains.
