The financial media are abuzz with talk of a tech rally fueled primarily by yesterday's earnings announcement. I just hope iPod mania does not wane in the intervening period of Apple's switch to PC land. (I would have posted this in response to EW's thread, but it seems to have been thoroughly pwned by the database.)

It's great news for Apple and for it's users. Hopefully this will put to rest all the Apple is going out of business remarks as well as the Apple is losing money remarks. Probably won't though.

I'm sure the media sorely misses using the word "beleaguered" when mentioning Apple.

Congratulations to Apple.

Of course not. The first thing when Apple hits a high is that the nutheads will say that future forecasts are bound to drop because sales are waning, etc.

Never ends, really.

Yeah I know it was just wishful thinking on my part.

Just read The Motley Fool. That company's been saying Apple's going out of business since they were founded in the .COM crap. They NEVER say anything nice about Apple.
