As I mentioned in some other threads, I would take some photos of my newly, almost 100% finished, game room and home theater. Not sure what is on my camera lens to make all the spots but well, it will have to do for now.

(I guess my subdomains haven't all updated on somen DNS servers, but the above is the main link to my blog. Most of my blog posts will have subdomain links in them, like all-star game stuff and now, the basement. Just try again later if it doesn't work for you.)

I love seeing people's setups. Thanks for sharing. Looks like a sweet place to kick back with your friends and kill some time (and a few brain cells).

Probably dust in the air. My Canon Elph does the same thing.

Looks great! I especially like the pool room, and it must be awesome to have a big projector like that. Are those speakers Polk Audio? What are you using the Linksys for?

Yup, all speakers are Polk.

Linksys is my wireless internet; the cable modem is in there too.

I will be replacing the DVD player soon enough and put that upstairs. The bottom component is the newer SA 8300HD HD/DVR cable box. Right now, the HD cable box feeds both the LCD in the game room (HDMI) and the projector in the theater (Component and S-VIDEO). I can watch the same channel in both rooms right now and once I get the new DVD player, the same with that. It will mean moving a cable (HDMI) when I want to, but that is okay. Or, someone can be watching movies in the theater and HD in the game room.

I have a bunch of before photos; will post them too once I find them on my backups.

I might get all my Tiger and All-Star stuff hung this weekend too.

FYI, my friend had a situation where he didn't like having a CD/DVD players and millions of other things to I told him to pick up an Elgato EyeHome (http://www.elgato.com/) He encodes his movies and has access to his MP3 collection and photos on his Mac.

Very cool stuff.
