Ummm. What is this, "crap on Fulcrum day?" I don't believe that paperwork has gone through.

How about a little civility? Really.

He is not exactly asking for civility with his crappy threads. That's post whoring, nothing else.

Remember the "glass houses" rule and tread lightly.

I'm surprised that Microsoft has not sued a number of commercial ventures for publishing a LOT of stuff with their clipart. Just about any locally made sign or handbill will be full of the stuff! (And of course such items are always wonderfully designed, aren't they...

Does the glass house rule actually apply on the internet? Seriously. I mean, isn't that the appeal of having internet forums. You never actually have to see people face to face? If push comes to shove you can always change your name and get a new account, or new e-mail address, or even a new domain name?

Honestly, MacNN is quite timid compared to many different forums I've been to in the past 4 years. It also happens to have some of the nicest ad friendliest people around. At least in my opinion.

There is NEVER any reason to be intentionally rude. You can argue, rant, pontificate, zealotate (I just made that one up), and otherwise toot your horn. You can disagree, divert, orate, and downplay the significance of a thread, too. But going out of your way to subvert a thread to make fun of the poster is just plain juvenile. Absolutely uncool. Please, if you aren't interested in a thread, ignore it and it may just die a natural death. Otherwise you wind up proving Abe Lincoln correct...(the remainder is left as an exercise for the student).

I suppose that if you are on Windows the you are used to that quality .

It's gotten much more pleasant lately. Hurricane Emily has pushed a nasty, persistent high off of us, and it's finally rained and cooled off a bit. My lawn is much happier, too!
