At this point, is the RAZR one of the only quadband phones easially obtainable in the US? I'm with T-Mobile and would like to stick to them, but would also like a phone capable of using the newer Cingular 850 towers when I am out of range of the T-Mobile 1900 towers. My service already roams onto Cingular for free when I go east of town to my parents, but their house is only covered by an 850 tower.

Lastly, my next job may prohibiy camera phones. Anyone know of a good GSM phone that does have bluetooth, but doesn't have a camera?

Thanks for any feedback

There are plenty of quad-band phones that will work with your current carrier - but you won't find them at your local T-Mobile store.

You may have trouble finding a phone with Bluetooth but without a camera. You'd probably have to do without both.

I use a Sharp 902SH, which is actually a six-band phone (quad-band GMS, plus UTMS and W-CDMA). I got it unlocked on eBay for about $650 and it works fine with my T-Mobile SIM, though it obviously retains the Vodafone Japan interface (which I have read is now possible to remove, but in the process the UTMS/W-CDMA ability as well as the Japanese character ability is lost).

Checking out HowardForums.com is probably your best bet for info of this sort.

Motorola's V600 and V330 can do quad band as well. The V600 is almost exactly what the razr is based on and the V330 is a V600-ish phone in the V300's case. The v330 is probably the cheapest one on the market right now (you can get them cheaper than free on amazon),and a very solid phone too.

Oh yeah, both have bluetooth and cameras on them *shrug*

Oh wait you don't want a camera.. hrm!

The Treo 600, but I don't think it has bluetooth. it probably can be added with a card

Some blackberries have bluetooth but lack cams too

Blackberry, Nokia 9300 communicator, Siemens SK65 are all bluetooth with no camera. Whether they have the bands you want I'm not sure, i searched for these on a UK website, but they are all listed as working in Europe and USA.

Look after my manor, or I will bum you, literally, to death.
