Well being that its summer time you want to hit up the beach. Newport and Huntington Beach in Orange County is great as well as Santa Monica. If you want to do some shopping Beverly Center and South Coast Plaza are great malls. Melrose is good if your into urban type stuff. At night just hit up Sunset. Citysearch is your friend if your looking for good places to eat. Enjoy your stay.
