Farmers Insurance.. jeeze.. For those of you that feel lawyers are the scum of the earth.. I say deal with these sunnabeetches for a week and see if you don't change your mind.

My (superfine) vehicle was recently hit by another car insured with Farmer's. After a quick review and the realization that there wasn't much weasel room on the claim, Farmer's decided to pay up. HA! Well, they decided to throw a nickel my way which won't cover a fraction of the damage done.

No big deal. Body shop assures me that this is SOP for dealing with Farmers and they'll take care of it from here.

The main sticking issue for me has been the rental car situation. I've basically insisted that they provide me with a rental car and I was assured that it would be something comparable to my vehicle. 6 phone calls later and I've been upgraded to some domestic ****-box econo car. Now, I'm pretty pissed at these guys and I really don't want to let them slide on this. They're trying to argue that "comparable" means a car for a car, van for a van, truck for a truck kinda of thing. I'm calling ******** and pushing for top of the line. Anyone have any experience dealing with these fork-tongued bastards? I've joked around with my attorney that I'd love to let the dogs loose (their firm) on Farmer's (which seemed to excite them greatly) but I'd rather not have to resort to that.

They do, but usually you need to 'take it up the ass' before its effective.

I've been trying that all week. It seems to provide a slight bit of pleasure/relief.. but an hour later and the pain returns. Should I up the dosage?
