I've put together a list of some of the fads and catchphrases that have been around on MacNN (thankfully most of them are gone now). Vote on your favourite.

I feel it's having a "personal home page"

Ripeness.

I laughed so hard and his antics and the copycats, of which I am also to blame. What made it funny though was how angry everyone else would get.

The one I hate the most (and I admit to doing it once) is to post a "lock" (or demand a lock) in threads where the poster doesn't agree with the topic at hand, or it isn't going as expected.

If you don't like a thread, just don't read it. That shouldn't be too hard to do...

Have you been touched by his noodly appendage?

or better yet, telling people they're going to put someone on "ignore". Damn, that's pathetic.

The +1 is the one that I see the most often.

I agree. The "Get a blog" posts are the lamest. I have been guilty of it, but I saw the light. Da Lounge is a blog!

And a few posts later they are replying to them!!! I find that hilarious. SWF is the worst offender.
