I just discovered the SpamCop.net spam reporting service, and it seems like a great way to both get back at the spammers, and to avoid getting an insane amount of spam. The SpamCop bundle for Mail.app is very old and unsupported, but I was wondering if the process of submitting to SpamCop.net could be automated with Automator. Also, is submitting to SpamCop.net a risk? Is there a chance that the spammers will retaliate?
