I want to do some documentation for WIndows and Mac and need images of the various keys on the keyboard, basically graphics that are outlines of the physical keys themselves. Bonus if I can find them in white and black so I can show them pressed/not pressed.

Any ideas?

They make fonts for exactly that purpose. Google "keycap fonts" to find several. (Who'd have thunk that Google could be used to find things! )

Unicode also includes a character called "Combining enclosing keycap" that you overlay over a letter to make a keycap. Like this:

I would have used Google for this purpose but I wasn't sure of the precise term "keycap font", hence my difficulty. Man, I can taste the sarcasm from here....
