I heard on the radio this morning about Microsoft's map service similar to google maps and they were talking about how the Apple campus is not on Microsoft Satellite images but it is there on Google.... Interesting.
The Microsoft image is dated, but hasn't the Apple campus been around for a while?
Here is the Microsoft Satellite Image
For Google, go to http://maps.google.com and for the address, type in:
1 Infinate Loop
Cupertino, CA

1) This is old.
2) They are aerial photos, not satellite images.
3) The pictures themselves are taken from a very old source. Microsoft did not have a hand in making the Apple campus disappear, they are simply using old maps. For example, the World Trade Center is still standing in the images MSN Maps is using.

TerraServer's aerial photographs are provided by the USCGS; most are from 1995 and earlier.
Further, as Luca points out, there was a well visited thread on this earlier this week that included pictures for the imagination challenged... Yes, this is OLD. Search first!
