They are like cars. Once flooded you have no idea what will fail shortly afterwards from corrosion. Actually if they are rinsed with pure distilled water to remove contaminants and then completely dried, they may work with minor repairs. Usually, it isn't worth it to use them as the potential loss is far greater than cost of a new computer. Get a repair estimate from a "repair shop" like a good local dealer that you know.
