Does anybody have any real life stories that warranted a reply of "If it weren't for my horse, I wouldn't have spent that year in college..."


Mine...

One time I was on the phone with my Grandma. Good old Grandma....never a foul word came from her mouth.
Anyways, apparently she got into an arguement with my step dad in which he was going on and on and on. So i was asking her..."well, what did he say?".
She said she didn't want to say it becuase if she cursed on the phone they would disconnect her service...

I paused for a half second and then proceeded to repeat..."If if weren't for my horse, I wouldn't have spent that year in college...".

She was like,..."hahaha what?!?"

I just told her...."yah, that was quite possibly the dumbest thing i've ever heard..."

Used to sell computer equipment. There was a huge batch of monitors with the image tilted on one side. It was slight, but it was obvious as well. When asked about it the Nokia rep said, "Well, that's due to the Earth's magnetic field."

I still can't repeat that story without laughing.
