I'm trying to learn to stitch images together to form panoramas, here's what I've come up with for now. I went for a hike after work yesterday, and took this one, some 30km from Reykjavik.

Any good panoramas out there? Some tips for stitching would be appreciated as well.

Here's a couple - I had to due a quick and dirty resize on my PC (yuck) with MS photo editor as I don't have PS on my work PC. These babies were much to big to post though.

The first one is Indian Head up in New Hampshire, kind of like the old man of the mountain. I took this last fall. This was my very first pano made, and its probably a very difficult one because of the foilage. The software pano maker I think (I haven't done one in ages so I forget what I used) stitched it all together rather seemlessly.

Click on the thumbnail to super size it

The second is a Pano of Boston from Deer Island.

i guess i shouldn't have woken up so early.

i have this very wide one i took at islands of adventure a while ago. didn't have a tripod or anything, so it didn't come out all that well.

My old 550 sq ft apartment in Madison, WI.

Taken while very drunk, in said 550 sq ft apartment, with very drunk and tired wife. It's my first panorama though. It's awful. Heh.

A building I snuck into to explore the decay, in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee Domes. There's three, but I think you can only see two. Built in 1955.

Wow, there are some really nice pics here, great work!

Gee4orce, your pic from Iceland is from the other side of the mountain that I took my pic from (at the top of this thread), only about 2km walking distance. Small world, eh?

Looking back at Vancouver from North Vancouver's Lonsdale Quay. The SeaBus (passenger ferry) is visible just right of center in the image (flat white rectangle boat) and Stanley Park is on the far right.

super old ones. click for bigger:

please use a thumbnail whenever possible in this thread.

i use the Canon stitch utility to start things off. then i use photoshop to clean up the transitions, the phantom people/cars/mountains, and color correction. i used to do it all in PS, but that was a royal pain.

nice shot btw, hugi.

I was at my balcony on 28th floor, simply stuck the camera out and snap'd away! The only thing that scared me wasn't the height, i was just afraid to drop my 20D

were you using like ISO 12800 or what?! that might be the noisiest picture i've ever seen! haha unless you post-processed it in, but it kind of ties into the colors of the sunset i suppose.
