In Firefox, I accidentally typed "s" in the address bar, and hit enter. I was magically taken to McDonalds.com. I figured that I was imagining things, but it kept happening. I'm on Windows, now. Does the same thing happen on a Mac, even if not on anything but Firefox?

Here's what some of the letters of the alphabet do:

A - http://www.apple.com
B - http://www.btselem.org (Never been to this site)
C - http://www.lysator.liu.se/c (Never been to this site)
D - http://www.dlink.com
E - http://www.eonline.com
F - http://www.f-secure.com (Never been to this site)
G - https://www.google.com/accounts/Serv...Dhtml%26zy%3Dl
H - http://www.h-net.org (Never been to this site)

Is this some sort of Firefox easter egg?

its probably the first google result fr those letters... thats what firefox does when you dont have ".com" on the end of the address, it looks it up on google and takes the first result.
