i think my street mailbox was robbed!

I had 2 movies coming via netflix, had never been an issue. Tuesday, I did not check the mail, Wednesday morning I went to the street and got it. There was a magazine. One magazine. There has not been a day in years that I have gotten ONE piece of mail. Today, again- no movies. This would not necessarily bother me if I had not gotten that ONE magazine... What do I do? If the mailbox was robbed, what else might be gone?
I'm a bit nervous...

Contact Netflix, or go online and track the movies. Tell them there may have been some problem in receiving them. Maybe contact the Post Office as well, tell them of a potential mail tampering issue. You'll need to speak to the Postmaster locally. They will trace and find out when they were delivered.

I don't care about the damn movies (at this moment)... That was just my gauge to know that something else was supposed to be in my mailbox people! My fear is what else was stolen, why, and by whom? Uh- hello- identity theft?!?
What does the USPS or police dept do about this stuff?
PS- I will contact Netflix in case anyone cares.

I care. My wife's check was opened in our mailbox and left there... now that is scary.
