Hey Folks,

Just check out The Devil's Dictionary. It's full of funny definitions. Just look at some definitions:

JUSTICE, n. A commodity which is a more or less adulterated condition the State sells to the citizen as a reward for his allegiance, taxes and personal service.

JEALOUS, adj. Unduly concerned about the preservation of that which can be lost only if not worth keeping.

NONSENSE, n. The objections that are urged against this excellent dictionary.

"A man doesn't know what he knows until he knows what he doesn't know. "
"A pessimist is a man who looks both ways when he crosses the street. "
"Expert: a man who makes three correct guesses consecutively. "

Urban Dictionary wannabe.
"Everything's so clear to me now: I'm the keeper of the cheese and you're the lemon merchant. Get it? And he knows it.
That's why he's gonna kill us. So we got to beat it. Yeah. Before he let's loose the marmosets on us."

Ahh, good ol' Ambrose Bierce. A wonderfully cynical and embittered man who wrote some of the best short stories of the late 19th century. "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge" is probably his best known, but The Devil's Dictionary is by far my favorite of his works. Look up the word "Patriotism."

Yes, it's time we dusted off some of these definitions for the modern era....

Well, by definition () it can't be a "wannabe."

And if it's "not as good," that's like, your opinion, man. A lot of dreck needs to be trudged through to get to the goods in u.dict.
