I made a post on the Peripherals Forum being grumpy about Marathon Computing, and its lack of responsiveness. Well, I think I've figured out what to do. I went to Lowe's and believe that with some measuring tools they have determined what screws I need. Then I went to a VERY impressive site, though it doesn't look impressive at first: McMaster-Carr. This site has lots of great stuff and if you try to find something, the interface is excellent. They even have awesome drawings of the products:

Furthermore, though I don't know what format it is - and Safari doesn't seem to view it without a plug in, they even have 3D models! ...of screws!

It's ok, you don't have to be a true geek, but it helps.

i use McMaster all the time at work. Their delivery and service is exceptional, and their website, by and large, is very thorough. You can't use them for things you intend to put into production, 'cause though it may not seem like it, their costs for things like fasteners are somewhat high, but when you're building prototypes and testing stuff out, they're great.

Just try buying one of those tiny powebook screws and you'll see how impossible it really is.

I'm looking for the name of the screwdriver that can open those triangle screws Nintendo uses.

I have a vga cable that'll connect to my GameBoy color. I was thinking of using the LCD to make a funny tiny LCD screen, maybe with JUST my HDD icon on it.

Use a flathead screwdriver and angle it.
