Anyone have one of these memberships.
I live in NYC and was thinking of picking one up so I could reserve a Genius ahead of time (as right now it's crazy waiting times everytime I go into the store and I'm not even sure anymore how to get an appointment).
I call the store up and they never answer the phone anymore it's so busy.
I hope NYC gets more stores like the rumors says, they demand is there.
Anyway, point is, does anyone pay 99 bucks for the ProCare card?
I for one have never bought applecare or such services as I really believe that things like this reallly should be included with a product a company believes in.
They give you a year, so that's good for me.
Part of me wants to have a ProCare card to reserve a space and maybe for better treatment, but I guess I could always go to TekServe or Digital Society for repairs.

You don't have to go to the store to reserve a time, just go to Apple's website and you'll see the next available time online without needing a procard. You'd only need the procard if you wanted a specific day and time up to 7 days away.

My wife has the ProCard for her PowerBook. She likes being able to set up an appointment in advance. It also allows for priority work to be done on your Mac. The wait time can be long at our local store also, weekdays are usually better.

ProCard is good for more than seeing a Genius. One can meet with a specialist for 1 hour per week for 52 weeks and go over hardware and software issues, projects. iLife, etc.
