I think I've been really lucky, or comcast has been filtering out spam before I get it, but recently that's changed. I have been getting a half dozen or so emails from differently named people with different suffixes to their names on their email addresses, thus no way to block them(I think). Mostly it's for health supplements, but also for petrol investments. When I try to go onto the site my browser just gets hung up and the web page doesn't open. Using Safari and Explorer. Using reply and asking to remove my name has proven useless.

I liked the idea that I had next to no spam coming in, and would love to get back to that. Anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of this specific spammer?

Thanks

ps

the link to the spam they send is:

oh man, was that a mistake. If it's an addy they check, you just confirmed your email address. If it's just a junk account (more likely), then no one will ever answer you.

also, are you using an email client or webmail? And does it load pictures from the internet, or do you have that disabled?

never click their links.

you may be able to log into your comcast acct and turn on a spam filter so the spam would be removed as soon as it hits the server.

someone needs to make a screensaver that works kind of like one of those [blank]@home things, so whenever you run your screensaver you can be part of a massive DOS attack (against a specific spam server) including everyone else who is running that screensaver.

I get 5 ads for watches daily on comcast. Why would I want to buy a watch from a spammer? I don't get it.

why would anyone buy anything from a spammer?...

you sent me unsolicited mail
you faked the subject line
you faked the from address
you faked the headers
you faked the return address

you sound like an honest kind of person - here are my creditcard details!

the really frightening thing is - enough people must actually buy from these arseholes to make it financially worth their while sending the shite out. who are these folk? is there really anyone that stupid?

All they need are 1% to buy to win more accounts... hence they spam millions.

to think that even 1% of people are that stupid is pretty depressing.
