the local rock station was talking about this picture being in the paper...found it on cnn.com

The woman in the nearest part of the picture sure does look like a guy. Is that what old age will do to you?

It would appear, in the backgrounds is a house up to it's roof in water; yet they are standing, in the foreground, on solid ground (an inch or too of water). So, they must be standing on another roof/cart/structure?

However, looking closer, you can see the guard rail of the road; so it must be a big dropoff on the other side of the road to make the rooflines the same/or so the height of the guardrail.

Yeah, if you notice the pole behind them you can see those power lines are way too low. They should be another 5 or 10 feet higher.

It does say "Heloise, in the boat".

Unclear reference structure, but I read it as the SWAT team assisting both of them, while Heloise is the one in the boat.

This thread, btw, is just mean, and all those poking fun damn well need to post pictures of themselves in t-shirt and boxers, and again when they hit age 75.

It's definitely a highway or major road above the lower houses... that's why it looks out of whack. What were they saying on the radio?

Yep, they're on an elevated roadway-there's a standard guardrail in the background in front of the top of a house's roof.

Looks like his wanker is hanging out. And if it really is, then that old guy is well hung.

There is a boat in 1 inch of water. Not even 1 inch by the looks of it.

I think the idea was to get the boat as close to shallow water as possible, so that shouldn't be too odd. The roofs of the houses appearing to be at ground level (because we assume the people are at ground level) is the main visual issue.

Even though it's the SWAT team that is "helping" them, the old guy is not handcuffed?!

whatever it is, it had about a week's notice that the hurricane was on its way - yet it still allowed itself to get caught in front of the world's media - sporting a saggy set of tits and a mingin' pair of crusty oul' boxers - wi its wang hangin' out.

some people just refuse to make an effort!
